Would You Want Your Porn Regulated? Why We Need Feminism

There has been a string of “facesitting” protests contesting the recent UK ban by the BBFC (British Board of Film Censors) on certain acts that can no longer be displayed in porn produced in the UK.

These prohibitions are said to include:

Spanking

Caning

Aggressive whipping

Penetration by any object “associated with violence”

Physical or verbal abuse (regardless of  if consensual)

Urolagnia (known as “water sports”)

Role-playing as non-adults

Physical restraint

Humiliation

Female ejaculation

Strangulation

Facesitting

Fisting

What is most troubling on this list to me is the facesitting ban, especially because I don’t see any d*ck sucking ban accompanying it. The BBFC views face sitting as “life endangering”, but is the risk of suffocating on female genitalia not as great as the risk of suffocating on male genitalia?

That is what many feminists are responding to, as to them the laws seem to be largely sexist and sexually oppressive. What are your guys’ thoughts?
