Congratulations are in order to actress and singer Zendaya! This past week has been full of accomplishments for the teen. The star graduated from high school on June 11th, along with Gabby Douglas. One could only imagine how difficult it must be to have a career while trying to work towards graduating from high school, but Zendaya made it happen effortlessly. While working in the entertainment industry, she attended an independent study, which allowed her to graduate on time. The graduate shared an inspirational caption for the occasion:

Shout out, not just to all the 2015 grads but to the soon to be! Please remember knowledge is one of the most powerful gifts we have the privilege of receiving…don’t take that for granted. To every soon to be grad, know that you CAN do it! (if I can get through it then anyone can) It’s a long road, so many things will pose as obstacles in your way and at times the end seems further and further away, but please remember the importance of that beautiful mind you have and all the limitless powers you hold. All my love #sorryforgettingdeep

Not only that, but days after graduation, the 18-year-old was presented an Woman of Excellence award at an charity event hosted by the Ladylike Foundation for her professional accomplishments and philanthropy.  There’s no doubt that she is definitely a role model to girls all over!
