Magazine Takeover of 2015

Over the past weekend, I was in my mom’s car and found a stack of magazines that sparked my interest into my latest search. Specifically, I went to search for African-American women who are currently gracing the covers of some of the most read magazines. The biggest take away that I got from this is that as women we have to acknowledge the accomplishments and continue to empower one another.

Brea Thompson is a junior studying Communication at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
