The NBA Finals are finally over, but now the celebration begins for the Golden State Warriors. The history in the making team defeated Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 on June 16th with a score of 105 to 97. MVP Stephen Curry helped his team lead the series 3-2, so there was no doubt that Curry nor his team were going down without a fight.

This is the first NBA Title win for the team in 40 years, so they had to celebrate in a huge way with their city. Thousands of fans filled the Oakland streets on June 19th for a victory parade to watch and cheer on the team as they rode on floats with their families.

Of course, the adorable Riley Curry was alongside her dad for the celebration. She has been the highlight throughout the basketball season so it’s only right that she would be in attendance for the festivities. She even graced the mic once again to say “Way” when her dad spoke to the crowd of 500,000 fans, but she got a little shy.

Congrats to the Golden State Warriors!
