First Black Beauty Box to release in October

If you’ve been keeping up with trends, then you would know that beauty boxes, scent boxes, and even food boxes are the new thing. The best way to decide which beauty box to get is based off of your preference and what you would like to receive month to month.

Although these boxes are fun and something new, there is a downside to beauty boxes: the lack of products that are for black skin. Products in the boxes usually benefit those of other races and are usually from non-black creators.

Starting in October, Essence will be releasing their very own beauty box. This beauty box is the first subscription box geared towards black women. The box would include products for the curlier/kinkier textured hair, makeup that will complement the pigment in our skin, and nail products made toxin free.

There are three options for the subscription whether you want to pay month to month, every six months, or even a year.
